Columbus, Ohio — A disturbing video out of a Kroger in Columbus is raising serious questions about professionalism and use of force. Witnesses say a 15-year-old girl was simply trying to wait on the sidewalk for a friend who was still inside the store. According to people at the scene, the girl repeatedly told the security guard she just wanted to wait outside. There were no reports of shoplifting, trespassing, or any criminal behavior. But witnesses say the guard refused to let her remain there and began aggressively confronting her. The video reportedly shows the guard physically manhandling the teenager, who is much smaller than him. Witnesses claim the confrontation escalated because the girl was rude and hurt his feelings, and his ego could not handle being challenged. If that’s true, this wasn’t about security — it was about control. The punch is not visible in the video, but witnesses say it happened.
