Please Be Careful, Everyone. 🚨 This morning, July 8, around 7:45 a.m., ICE was in the Carrollton, TX area. A resident in my neighborhood was taken into custody while simply taking out his trash. From what I witnessed, officers were waiting for him. As soon as he threw away his trash, they surrounded him. He tried to run but fell, and they were able to arrest him. What breaks my heart is that he leaves behind a disabled wife, their 3-year-old son, and she is also pregnant. She has now been left without the husband and father who was her biggest source of support. I know them both personally, and he has always been known as a hardworking man who is devoted to providing for and caring for his family. Please stay aware of your surroundings, look out for one another, and be careful out there. My prayers are with this family during this incredibly difficult time.
