STORY: 1/ This is heartbreaking. A man walked towards “The Sapphire” apartment(Ithemba Apartments in Maboneng) and was robbed of his phone. 2/ Instead of leaving, the robbers stayed outside… waiting while the first victim walks in. 3/ Three girls then walked out the elevator ready to leave the building, completely unaware of what had just happened. They assumed the men inside lived there. 4/ The man who had just been robbed didn’t warn them, he just walked right passed the poor girls and was trying to access the apartment with urgency. 5/ Moments later, the suspects pulled out guns and held the girls at gunpoint. Immediately they through their belonging on the floor for survival. 6/ Their phones and purses were taken. Just like that. 7/ the robbers fled of on one BMX bicycle which is diabolical. In other words this means the robbers are located around maboneng. 8/One of the phones find my iPhone last seen shows the location of Maboneng near Anderson Street. 9/ It’s terrifying how quickly things can turn. Please stay alert. And please, look out for one another.
