Man Goes To Jail After Giving His 15 Year Old Step Daughter A Old Fashion Whooping For Disrespecting Him
Abilene, Texas – On Tuesday, August 5, 2025, police were called out to an apartment complex in the 2900 block of Old Anson Road in North Abilene for the report of a disturbance. The calling party stated there was a disturbance at one of the apartment buildings. Police arrived and spoke with the apartment residence in question. Officers left after the adult male in the home reported there was no disturbance.
Officers were called out to the same complex after a second calling party reported seeing video evidence of the disturbance at the same apartment.
Detectives with Special Victims were called in to investigate. As a result, 38-year-old Phillip Johnson of Abilene was arrested for 3rd degree Felony Assault Family Violence. Johnson was transported to the Taylor County Jail.
A 15-year-old juvenile was injured in this incident. Due to the age of the victim, no other information can be provided.
