A man was strolling along the 800 block of North California in Humboldt park at approximately 1:37 a.m. on Tuesday when suddenly an SUV comes to a halt in the middle of the road, and its doors swing open, the first assailant who approaches him grabs the pizza box from his grasp and steps back, aiming a firearm at him. Meanwhile, two accomplices begin searching the man for his belongings.
One of them demands the password to his phone, which he quickly provides. However, that isn’t enough for them. A person with a hood covering their head raises a pistol and warns the man that there will be consequences if he’s lying about the PIN.
