STORY: The man abusing the dog in this video is Tyler Stein, a firefighter with the Azle Fire Department, near Fort Worth, Texas.
The video is brutal. It shows him dragging the dog by its collar, hitting, kicking, and tossing it around, even appearing to choke it before the dog finally escapes and runs outside. Other videos (not shown because of the child’s age) show him yelling aggressively at a toddler.
Azle Fire Department has issued a statement condemning the behavior, and he’s been placed on administrative leave while the incident is investigated.
This isn’t someone who just lost his temper. It’s a man with serious anger issues – the kind who snaps and takes it out on the weak and the innocent. People like this are dangerous, and unless it’s addressed, it will happen again.
His dogs must also be removed immediately for their safety. We need to push for that. Leaving them in his custody is a direct risk of further abuse.
