An attempted home invasion ended with one of the suspects shot this week in Alta Floresta. The action was recorded by security cameras and shows the moment when two men arrive at the property, observe the location, and try to force the door open.
According to the footage, the moment the door was opened, one of the suspects was hit by gunfire and fell at the entrance of the residence. The other involved individual left the scene. The images also indicate the presence of a vehicle nearby.
According to information passed to the Military Police, the resident reported that one of the suspects had gestured as if he were armed. Given the situation, a resident reacted to protect the family.
The 19-year-old suspect was rescued and taken to the hospital. The second individual involved was not located and remains sought by security forces. The case will be investigated by the Civil Police.
