Through social networks, a tourist recorded the exact moment when two men left the beach to take shelter from the rain and were heading to a bower while walking along the beach, when in a matter of seconds they were struck by lightning.
After the event, the municipal president, José María Valencia, confirmed the death of the two people, who were identified as a merchant from Tecomán, in the neighboring state of Colima, and a woman from Guanajuato.
