Two people have been arrested in the Brazen Armed Robbery last week. On Thursday, the Milpitas Police Department announced authorities had arrested Damauriae Greene and Shyanne Real in connection to the armed robbery of Footlax Foot and Body Massage.
Both suspects are 20 years old and residents of Fresno, according to the San Jose Police Department.
On Saturday, March 8, Milpitas PD officers responded to an armed robbery at a massage parlor on the 1200 block of East Calavera Boulevard. Officers learned that two suspects used a firearm and robbed employees and patrons. They stole cash, jewelry and purses before fleeing in a vehicle, police said.
Working with the San Jose Police Department, which was investigating a similar robbery at a spa back in January, Milpitas PD’s Criminal Investigation Bureau identified Greene and Real as the suspects.
On Monday, SJPD arrested the two and booked them into Santa Clara County Jail on multiple counts of robbery, kidnapping, burglary, conspiracy and weapons violations. The charges were connected to crimes committed in Milpitas and San Jose.
Detectives are still piecing together additional evidence, police said. A third suspect remains outstanding and the investigation is ongoing.
