ootage of a young man brutally beating his father over a property dispute has surfaced. Forty-year-old Santhosh viciously assaulted his father Kulanthaivelu in Perambalur, Tamil Nadu. Kulanthaivelu, a businessman, had recently passed away.
The CCTV footage from February 16 shows Santhosh relentlessly beating his father until he loses consciousness, with blood stains visible on Santhosh’s shirt
Santhosh was arrested under charges including 323 (punishment for causing hurt) and 324 (causing hurt with a weapon) of the IPC. He has been remanded in judicial custody. Despite Kulanthaivelu’s death on April 18, no complaint has been filed by Santhosh’s family
His arrest was solely based on the CCTV footage.
The police have preliminarily concluded that Santhosh’s attack led to his father’s death, citing it as a cause of a heart attack
